Mechanical Supervisor – HVAC, Plumbing & Drainage

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with strong practical experience in HVAC, water supply, drainage and plumbing works in the construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site installation activities, coordinating workers and subcontractors, and ensuring that mechanical works are completed safely, correctly and according to approved drawings and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily mechanical installation activities at the construction site.
• Lead and coordinate technicians, plumbers, HVAC technicians and subcontractor teams.
• Supervise installation of HVAC, ductwork, refrigerant/chilled water piping and ventilation systems.
• Supervise water supply, drainage, soil/waste and plumbing works.
• Read and interpret approved mechanical/shop drawings and coordinate site installation accordingly.
• Ensure correct installation, alignment, supports, slopes, pipe routing and workmanship.
• Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical and other MEP activities.
• Monitor daily manpower, productivity and material requirements.

Qualifications \& Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical/MEP construction works.
• Strong practical experience in HVAC, ductwork, refrigerant/chilled water piping, ventilation, water supply, drainage and plumbing.
• Proven experience supervising technicians, plumbers, HVAC technicians and subcontractor teams on construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/shop drawings and coordinate site installations.
• Experience in coordinating mechanical works with civil, electrical and other MEP activities.
• Good knowledge of pipe routing, supports, alignment, slopes and installation workmanship.
• Knowledge of site safety requirements, manpower coordination and material planning.
