Job Vacancy: Mechanical BIM Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical BIM Engineer to join our Engineering/Design department. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating detailed 3D mechanical models to ensure seamless project execution from design to construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- BIM Modeling: Develop detailed 3D models for Mechanical systems (HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing) using Revit MEP according to project specifications.
- Clash Detection: Perform interference checks and clash detection using Navisworks, resolving conflicts with structural and other MEP services.
- Shop Drawings: Extract high-quality shop drawings, sections, and isometric views from the BIM model for site installation.
- Coordination: Participate in BIM coordination meetings to synchronize mechanical designs with Architecture and Structure.
- BOQ Extraction: Generate accurate Quantities Take-off (QT) and Schedules directly from the BIM models.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure all models adhere to BIM execution plans (BEP) and international/company standards.
Requirements \& Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Software Expertise: Mastery of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD. Knowledge of Dynamo or BIM 360 is a plus.
