Maths Tutor @ Mathnasium

Mathnasium is a Maths only-learning center that offers both Maths help and enrichment to students from Prep to Year 10. Each student in our program receives a customized Learning Plan based on our proprietary teaching material. Join us for the opportunity to make a difference in a child’s life by passing on a love for Maths! We offer casual jobs near Garden City with flexible scheduling and ongoing training opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• Exceptional Maths skills through Primary and Senior School
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to professionally interact with students
• Energetic and confident personality
• Experience teaching Year 11 and Year 12 students

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to teach students in upper-level senior school Maths courses
• Previous teaching experience or other experience working with students

The learning center environment is supportive and encouraging. Applicants should love teaching and be able to motivate students to succeed.

• Career Path: Starting as an Instructor, you can progress with in the center to become a Lead Instructor, Assistant Center Director, or Center Director.
• Training: We offer training in the proprietary Mathnasium method. Full training on the Mathnasium method will be provided – just bring along your experience and excellent teaching skills! All materials are supplied. The syllabus follows the Australian National Curriculum
• Students: You will work with a variety of students at different grade levels while building unique connections with each student.
• All work is in-center: All work is done at the Mathnasium Center, so you have no homework to correct or lesson plans to develop.
