Reena is actively looking to hire for the Marketing Assistant (Administrative Assistant) role in partnership with the Canada Summer Jobs Program.
The Marketing/Communications Assistant will works closely with Manager of Marketing and Communications and Specialist to provide clerical/office/administrative support to the team. The assistant will help with creating and designing as well as writing of marketing materials – brochures, flyers, infographics, and will work collaboratively in a team environment and help with other duties and projects as needed.

Qualifications:* Enrolled in a marketing, communications, public relations and related programs in a post-secondary degree program. * Experience in a Marketing, Communications and/or Social Media role is an asset (employment or volunteering) * An excellent writer who produces succinct press releases, web copy, articles, newsletters, and engaging marketing materials. * Excellent communication skills, verbal and written * Knowledge in graphic design, and able to develop communications tools (brochures, bookmarks, presentations, and leaflets) * Strong computer skills, proficient in MS office programs and Adobe Suites (an asset) * Highly organized with attention to detail

Eligibility: be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period* * be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment** and * have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations. * International students are not eligible participants.* As the objective of the CSJ program is to support youth entering the Canadian labour market, the temporary nature of an international student's time in Canada does not allow for a long-term connection to the labour market.
