Job Summary

Citizen Cables is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee daily production and manufacturing activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for production planning, operational efficiency, quality control, equipment utilization, workforce management, and cost optimization. This role requires a strong manufacturing leader who can improve processes, maintain high production standards, and ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily manufacturing and production operations to meet production targets and customer requirements.
• Develop production schedules, allocate resources, and coordinate manufacturing activities.
• Lead production supervisors, technicians, operators, and other manufacturing personnel.
• Monitor production output, efficiency, downtime, waste, labor utilization, and operating costs.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce manufacturing waste.
• Ensure products meet established quality standards and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Manage raw material requirements and coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams.
• Monitor inventory levels, material usage, production capacity, and resource availability.
• Establish and track manufacturing KPIs and prepare regular operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support the introduction of new products, manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
• Manage departmental budgets, operating expenses, and cost-control initiatives.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate manufacturing personnel to build a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, procurement, logistics, finance, and senior management teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality control, maintenance coordination, and operational efficiency.
• Experience in cable manufacturing, electrical products, industrial production, or a similar manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, production planning software, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
