As an Assistant Accountant, you'll be responsible for handling the full set of accounts, preparing financial reports, coordinating tax and statutory matters, and maintaining strong internal controls. You'll also work closely with management, auditors, bankers, and other external stakeholders while supporting system improvements and finance related projects.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience handling a full set of accounts
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proactive, responsible, and able to meet deadlines
  • Chinese female candidates only (preferred age: 35–40)

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Handle the full set of accounts and daily financial operations
  • Maintain general ledgers and fixed asset registers
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheets, and profit \& loss reports
  • Review accounting records and journal entries to ensure data accuracy
  • Prepare corporate tax computations, annual tax returns, SST schedules, and statutory payments
  • Participate in accounting system implementation and process improvements
  • Strengthen accounting procedures and internal control systems
  • Coordinate annual stock counts and financial reporting activities
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, and internal departments
  • Prepare government reports, statistical analysis, and surveys
  • Supervise the Senior Account Executive and support the Finance Manager and CEO
  • Perform additional finance assignments as required by management
