Manager of Inventory Monitoring

Job Purpose:

Undertakes management, supervision, and all other responsibilities, tasks assigned to managing the Inventory Monitoring department, and preparation of reports related to inventory movement and proof of receipt, disbursement and return of items included in the automated system after verifying their path and reviewing the item stock card in addition to reviewing the custody status in the custody cards and follow up on everything that happens to it, such as transportation, damage, or otherwise.

Key Accountabilities \& Responsibilities:

• Controlling the movement of items in warehouses, supply rooms, emergency rooms, maintenance units and workshops through the item stock card corresponding to the item card. Settlements are currently made in that card based on the supporting documents in accordance with the warehouse-approved forms in these rules.
• Recording through the automated system in the custody cards, Form No. 8, for permanent items issued as personal custody for employees, departments, sections, and sites affiliated with the organization.
• Carrying out all procedures related to automatic recording settlements in the item control card and the custody card and following up on any changes to them in the automated system.
• Conduct periodic matching of the restrictions contained in the item control card with those contained in the item card, and save the matchings in their own section in the automated system for reference when needed.
• Providing the relevant parties with the necessary warehouse data and information in the event of a deficit, loss, damage, or other event, such as estimating annual needs.
• Examine data on non-moving and overstocked items and make recommendations on them.
• Conducting a monthly reconciliation of the actual balances of some items in the warehouses with the corresponding balances recorded in the item control cards to verify the regularity of the entries.
• Preparing data on the value of the deficit and increase in the balances of items based on the forms and reports of the inventory committees or the reports of the General Auditing Bureau.
• Study inventory reports and extract inventory balances through the automated system and set a value for them at the end of each fiscal year.
• Respects patients and their families to promote a patient-centered care culture.
• Participates and supports quality improvement and patient safety activities as an individual or as part of multidisciplinary teams. Perform other job related duties as required.

Job Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum or Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Material Management, Healthcare specialty (such as Pharmacist, Allied, etc.) or Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor Supply Chain Management.

- With 9 years of Experience.

Preferred:

-Master’s degree in Material Management, Healthcare specialty (such as Pharmacist, Allied, etc.) or other related fields.

-With 7 years of Experience.
