Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Literature, Languages, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in translation or localization is preferred
- Native-level proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Experience translating between English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Basic knowledge of IT or software terminology is an advantage
- Strong editing, proofreading, and language quality assurance skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Able to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
ResponsibilitiesTranslation \& Localization
- Translate and localize content between English and Bahasa Malaysia while maintaining linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance
- Ensure translations meet project guidelines, terminology standards, and client requirements
- Adapt technical, marketing, and user-facing content for Malaysian audiences
- Maintain consistency across all translated materials
Editing \& Quality Assurance
- Edit and proofread translated content to ensure accuracy, readability, and consistency
- Review revisions and implement feedback from editors and clients
- Perform quality checks before project delivery
- Support continuous improvement of translation quality
Project Support
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for language-related issues and recommend preventive actions
- Work closely with Editors, Lead Linguists, and Project Managers throughout project execution
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting project deadlines
- Assist with additional language-related tasks assigned by the project team
Collaboration \& Professional Development
- Contribute to terminology management and language resources
- Share knowledge and best practices with team members
- Remain adaptable to different project requirements and subject matters
- Be available to support overtime work when required by project schedules
Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM3,400.00 per month
