Maintenance Technician (Packaging Machine)

Location: Pasir Gudang

Job Description:

• Set up, operate, and change over production machines, including fillers, labelers, cappers, and sealers according to daily schedules.
• Maintain smooth line operations, manage track and trace systems, and troubleshoot minor technical issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and calibrating machine parts, while assisting maintenance with major repairs.
• Conduct in-line quality checks by inspecting visual defects, verifying fill weights, and ensuring packaging meets required standards.
• Support production efficiency by logging quality defects, reducing raw material waste, and minimizing product give-away.
• Coordinate daily tasks with laboratory, process, maintenance, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow and resolve operational delays.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• At least 2 years of work experience on a packaging line.
• Good communication skills in both English and Malay.
• Practical technical skills to find and fix line problems quickly.
• Basic computer skills (experience with SAP OPO or AutoCAD is a plus).
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing is a bonus.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work well in a team or on your own.
• Willing to work rotational shifts.

Pay: RM3,400.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
