We are seeking an experienced Chainwire Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team located in Crestmead.

The Chainwire Machine Operator is a key person in the machinery workgroup and is responsible for achieving high levels of productivity and efficiency within a safe working environment.

The Role:

Reporting to the Technical Machinery Supervisor, the Chainwire Machine Operator’s primary focus is to:

• Actively participate in the day-to-day activities of the machinery workgroup focusing on safety, quality, productivity and efficiency, ensuring all product is produced within approved tolerances and to the required quality standards
• Achieve daily production targets whilst minimising unnecessary reworks
• Complete daily maintenance and cleaning of machinery to assist up time of operations
• Promote teamwork within the machinery workgroup to ensure all staff are working to a common goal of exceeding customer expectations

Requirements:

• Experience with using Chainwire Machinery within a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Current Driver’s License
• Current Forklift License
