Lorry driver (10-ton)

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Lorry Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods while ensuring compliance with company procedures and road safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate the company lorry to deliver and collect goods.
• Load and unload goods safely.
• Verify delivery orders, quantities, and the condition of goods before delivery.
• Collect Delivery Orders (DO), pallets, and racks from customers.
• Plan delivery routes using navigation apps (e.g. Waze).
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of the lorry.
• Keep vehicle logbooks, mileage records, fuel receipts, and delivery documents up to date.
• Arrange vehicle servicing, repairs, PUSPAKOM inspections, and lorry washing when required.
• Report any accidents, breakdowns, delays, or vehicle issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and safety requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Valid GDL, Class D \& E driving licences.
• Clean driving record.
• Experience in goods handling is an advantage.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Able to use a smartphone for online checklists and delivery work orders.
• Good navigation and route planning skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to load and unload goods.
• Willing to travel long distances when required.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
