Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics \& Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. This role involves coordinating warehouse distribution, procurement, transportation management, and order fulfillment processes to ensure seamless product flow from sourcing to delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis skills and experience with ERP systems, warehouse management systems, and process improvement initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic supply chain environment, supporting e-commerce, shipping \& receiving, and materials management functions.

Duties

• Manage warehouse distribution activities, including order picking, packaging, and shipping \& receiving operations.
• Coordinate procurement and sourcing activities to ensure timely availability of materials and products.
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to plan, execute, and monitor logistics operations.
• Oversee freight arrangements with 3PL providers, ensuring cost-effective and efficient transportation solutions.
• Conduct demand planning and inventory forecasting using ERP systems such as AS400 and other supply chain software.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify process improvements, optimize pricing strategies, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Support procurement activities through sourcing initiatives and vendor relationship management.
• Maintain accurate records of logistics activities within CMMS, ERP systems, and other relevant platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on order fulfillment, materials management, and warehouse operations.
• Implement process improvements in warehousing, shipping \& receiving, and order fulfillment workflows to increase productivity.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, procurement, or supply chain coordination.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes including freight management, sourcing, demand planning, and order fulfillment.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), CMMS software, and e-commerce logistics is preferred.
• Data analysis skills with the ability to interpret logistics metrics for process improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with 3PL providers, freight negotiations, shipping \& receiving procedures.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple logistics functions simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating across departments and external vendors.
• Prior warehouse experience including order picking and materials management is desirable.

Pay: $68,000.00 per year
