Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Logistics Assistant to join our transport operations team in Dubai. The candidate must have hands-on experience in UAE container transportation operations, especially coordination of container movements from Jebel Ali Port and other UAE ports.

The ideal candidate should be capable of handling daily transport coordination, driver follow-up, customer communication, and operational documentation efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years UAE experience in container transportation and logistics operations.
• Experience handling container movements from UAE ports such as Jebel Ali, Ajman Port, and related terminals.
• Good knowledge of UAE transport procedures, port operations, gate pass processes, and documentation.
• Ability to coordinate with drivers, customers, shipping lines, and port staff.
• Familiarity with trip planning, fleet coordination, and delivery scheduling.
• Good communication skills in English; Hindi/Urdu is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage operational challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily container transport operations and truck movements.
• Assign trips to drivers and ensure timely delivery and collection of containers.
• Follow up with drivers for trip updates, delays, and operational issues.
• Coordinate with customers regarding delivery schedules and site requirements.
• Liaise with ports, terminals, warehouses, and transport teams.
• Prepare and maintain operational documents including trip sheets, gate passes, delivery notes, and permits.
• Ensure compliance with UAE transport regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational records and update daily reports.
