Job Description

Local Marketing Manager

Part-Time (3 days per week)
£28,000–£32,000 FTE (£16,800–£19,200 pro rata)
Hybrid – 2 days in our London office, 1 day out in our clinics and local communities

Help Build One of the UK's Fastest Growing Healthcare Brands

At Carter \& George, we're on a mission to give everyone the opportunity to experience healthcare like an elite athlete.

Today, we operate 17 physiotherapy and sports medicine clinics across the UK. Over the next few years, we'll be expanding significantly, creating one of the country's leading private healthcare groups. Alongside our clinics, we've also launched Reformer by Carter \& George, bringing clinical-quality Pilates into our communities.

We're looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey.

Not someone looking for a comfortable marketing job.

Someone who wants to build something.

This isn't a typical marketing role.

Yes, you'll create content.

Yes, you'll write emails.

Yes, you'll organise events.

But your real job is much bigger than that.

Your mission is simple:

Help more people discover Carter \& George, return to Carter \& George and recommend Carter \& George.

Everything you do should contribute towards growing physiotherapy new patient numbers and increasing the number of former patients who come back to us when they need support again.

You'll have the freedom to develop ideas, test campaigns, build relationships and make things happen. You'll work closely with our Head of Marketing and wider senior team, but you'll have the autonomy to own your projects and bring new ideas to life.

What you'll be responsible for:

You'll become the driving force behind local marketing across our clinics, including:

  • Building relationships with gyms, sports clubs, businesses, schools and community organisations.
  • Organising local events that genuinely connect us with our communities.
  • Creating engaging social media content that showcases our clinicians, patients and culture.
  • Planning and delivering localised email marketing campaigns through Kajabi.
  • Developing campaigns that encourage former patients to return for further treatment when appropriate.
  • Supporting the launch of new services and clinics.
  • Creating marketing assets using Canva and helping keep our website fresh
  • Working alongside our paid media activity to maximise local campaign performance.
  • Measuring what's working, learning from the data and constantly improving.

Who we're looking for:

Experience matters but attitude matters more.

We're looking for someone who's naturally proactive, organised and full of ideas.

Someone who sees opportunities before they're asked, someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships and representing a brand out in the community.

The role suits someone who's excited by the challenge of helping a growing business become the market leader.

You'll probably have between graduate level and three years' marketing experience, although we're much more interested in your mindset than your CV.

Experience in hospitality, retail, leisure, fitness, healthcare or another commercially driven environment would all be valuable.

You'll probably love this role if...

  • You enjoy turning ideas into action.
  • You're comfortable taking ownership rather than waiting for instructions.
  • You like variety and would hate doing exactly the same thing every day.
  • You enjoy being accountable for results.
  • You want to build a career rather than simply have a job.
  • You like working with ambitious people who genuinely care about what they're building.

This probably isn't the role for you if...

  • You need detailed instructions before getting started.
  • You're looking for a predictable 9-5 marketing role.
  • You prefer strategy over execution.
  • You don't enjoy meeting people or building relationships.
  • You're uncomfortable working in a fast-moving business where priorities evolve.
  • You'd rather maintain what's already there than help build something new.

What you'll get

  • The opportunity to make a genuine impact in a rapidly growing healthcare business.
  • Mentoring from an experienced Head of Marketing and close collaboration with the senior leadership team.
  • Exposure to every aspect of modern marketing, from community growth and partnerships to digital campaigns, CRM, content and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Kajabi, Meta, Google Ads, GA4, Canva and Storyblok.
  • Pension contributions.
  • A collaborative team that values initiative, creativity and continuous improvement.
  • Genuine career progression as Carter \& George continues to expand across the UK.

Ready to build something?

We're looking for someone who wants to immerse themselves in our business, become part of our team and help shape the next stage of our growth.

If you're ambitious, proactive and excited by the idea of building one of the UK's leading healthcare brands, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in London
