Job description

The System administrator will concentrate on the design \& implementation of datacenters, services and 24x7 operations, management and migration of our application services.

• Hands-on management of SaaS and big data infrastructure and applications

• Implement Operational tools like deployment, provisioning, monitoring, performance measurement tools etc.

• Responsible for performance, availability and scalability of the infrastructure.

• An understanding of cloud solution approaches from a technical (infrastructure), service management, financial and sourcing

  perspective.

• Define and lead proof of concepts and pilots to support the use of cloud computing.

• Responsible for multiple infrastructure environments – development, staging, QA. R\&D and production environment

  monitoring, performance, release/deployment, security, reliability, availability, capacity, latency, and other non-functional concerns.

• This is a 100 % hands on role in leading and managing the team responsible for datacenter and infrastructure administration, application Release management/deployment, Tools ownership \& meet Availability requirement.

• Would be a best fit for someone who has come from a traditional Datacenter infrastructure Linux system administration, network and

  infrastructure role. Qualifications/Requirements

• B.S or M.S in computer science
• At least 3+ years’ experience in as a System admin/Systems engineer role in a SaaS or Cloud Operations
• Fluent in English
• Strong scripting skills. Python is a big plus.
• Strong background working in a Linux environment as a Sys Admin, including configuration and production support
• Strong NGINX background in multi instance apllications.
• Deep experience with at least one third generation automation and configuration management solution such as Chef
• Experience with the whole Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipeline ecosystem including tools such as Git Desired Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of strong hands on background in data centers, networking, virtalizations and service management
• 3+years experience in 24x7x365 datacenters and infrastructure operation,technologies, platforms, IaaS/SaaS technologies and platforms
• Strong foundation in SaaS, IaaS Virtualization and Service Management
• Some background im emerging technologies in cloud, docker, SDN and SaaS preffered
• Flexible, continous learner and knowledge sharer.
• Excellent communicator, works well in team enviroment, appreciates challenges.
• Comfortable and effective working in new areas that require experimentation and rapid problem solving
• Familiarity with Hadoop and Big Data technologies
