Lighting Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Producing shop drawings, reflected ceiling plans, and lighting layout drawings
• Drafting facade lighting and low-voltage system layouts based on design intent and supplier specifications
• Coordinating with project engineers, consultants, and suppliers to ensure drawing accuracy
• Revising drawings in line with site conditions, consultant comments, and material changes
• Maintaining an organized drawing register and version control across projects
• Supporting submittal preparation with drawing packages and technical documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of drafting experience in a lighting, MEP, interior fit-out, or contracting environment
• Proficient in AutoCAD (essential); DIALux or Relux knowledge is a strong advantage
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical, and reflected ceiling plans
• Familiarity with lighting products and their technical specifications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project drawings simultaneously
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage

Pay: Up to KD400.000 per month
