Life sciences translation specialists – Norwegian / Danish / Swedish / Finnish / Icelandic

Our experience runs deep across every area of the life sciences sector – from global pharma brands and medical device manufacturers to fast-growing biotech firms – and we are looking for new expert linguists with clinical, regulatory and medical device expertise to support us with this exciting work.

If you are an experienced freelance translator who specialises in life sciences content, working in one of the below language pairs, then we’d love to hear from you!

Please note this is freelance work, and we are looking for qualified and experienced freelance translators only.

We are looking for people who:

• Translate in one of the following language pairs:
  • English to Norwegian (Bokmål)
  • English to Danish
  • English to Finnish
  • English to Swedish
  • English to Swedish (FI) i.e. Finlandssvenska
  • English to Icelandic
• Can collaborate with us remotely as independent freelance contractors.
• Meet at least one of the following criteria:
  • A degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognised institution of higher education;
  • A degree in any other field from a recognised institution of higher education plus the equivalent of two years of full-time professional translation experience;
  • The equivalent of five years of full-time professional translation experience.
• Have proven experience and expertise of life sciences translation (clinical trials, medical devices, pharmaceuticals etc.) through previous work, study and/or ongoing CPD.
• Are experienced and knowledgeable in using CAT tools.
• Are flexible, good at following instructions, and can work independently.

Your tasks will include:

• Translation
• MTPE
• Revision/QA of others’ work
