Band 4 including Library Allowance: $40.44 - $43.11 per hour plus 12% superannuation

About the Role
As a Library Services Officer, you will play a key front-facing role in delivering high-quality library services to the Latrobe City community.
Reporting to the Team Leader you will provide welcoming, accurate and efficient customer service while supporting the effective day-to-day operations of the library.
You will assist patrons with borrowing and returning materials, accessing library resources, and navigating digital and physical collections. This role also involves maintaining the presentation and organisation of library spaces, accurately processing payments, and ensuring data within the Library Management System is up to date.
Working collaboratively with senior library staff, you will support the planning, promotion and delivery of a diverse range of programs and events that respond to community needs. You will develop a strong working knowledge of library databases and e-resources and contribute to continuous improvement by offering ideas to enhance customer experience and service delivery.
Please note this position does require the successful applicant to work outside of standard operating hours including weekends, via an agreed roster.
