Evolved Media is a Hudson Valley, NY production company creating cinematic social content for restaurants, lounges, breweries, wineries, spas, and premium brands. Our clients hire us because our work doesn't look like everyone else's — and we're hiring ONE full-time editor who can protect that standard on every cut.
We shoot on mirrorless and drone, we direct every shoot with intent, and we expect the edit to carry the same weight: deliberate pacing, cuts that land on the beat, rich color, sound design that pulls people through the first three seconds, and branding that closes clean. WHAT YOU'LL OWN
The full post-production pipeline: selects, edit, color, sound, captions, branded outros, delivery. 15-60 second vertical pieces (Reels/TikTok/Shorts) plus longer promos, trailers, and event recaps. Matching and elevating each client's established look from our reference library. And deadlines — you'll run your own queue from organized Google Drive folders and hit dates without being chased.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
3+ years editing professionally (brand, agency, or production house) — this has been your job, not your hobby. A reel that proves it: hospitality, food and beverage, lifestyle, or event work at a cinematic standard. Mastery of your tools (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci — we judge the export, not the software). Real color grading and sound design ability, not just a LUT and a trending audio. Speed: same-day and next-day turnarounds don't rattle you, and quality never drops to hit the clock. Full-time availability (\~40 hrs/week) — if you're juggling five other clients, this isn't for you.
COMPENSATION
$20-$25/hour, full-time (\~40 hrs/week), consistent year-round volume. Speed pays extra: fast-turnaround deliveries that hold our quality standard earn a premium above your base rate. 1099 contractor, fully remote — Hudson Valley locals get first call for paid on-set work. Direct line to the owner: no layers, your work ships fast and gets seen.
HOW TO APPLY — READ CAREFULLY

2. Send your reel/portfolio link and name the strongest cut in it.
3. In 3-4 sentences, tell us which of our reference videos you watched and one thing you would have done differently or better.
4. Include your start-date availability and confirm full-time capacity.
THE TRIAL: Finalists receive a folder of real raw client footage and turn it into a finished video — selects, edit, color, sound, captions, branded outro — on a set deadline. It's paid, and it's exactly the job: quality plus speed. We hire the editor whose cut needs the fewest notes and comes back the fastest.
