Faith Stone Design \& Build is seeking an experienced Lead Remodel Carpenter to help build and grow our residential remodeling division.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced remodeling professional to help build something from the ground floor.

You will work directly with ownership and our architect on residential remodeling, deck, addition, kitchen, bathroom, and construction projects throughout the South Shore.

We are looking for a highly skilled, dependable, hands-on remodeling professional who takes pride in their work, communicates well, solves problems, and consistently delivers high-quality craftsmanship.

PAY$30-$38 Per Hour (W-2)

Compensation is based on experience, reliability, communication, production, leadership ability, and quality of work.

THIS IS A WORKING LEAD POSITION

This is not a sit-in-the-truck position.

This role requires someone who is willing to actively work alongside the project while helping move jobs forward.

We are looking for a builder, not just a manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform residential remodeling and carpentry work
• Build decks, stairs, railings, and exterior structures
• Complete kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects
• Perform framing, structural repairs, and general carpentry work
• Install doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and finish carpentry
• Install tile and complete related remodeling tasks
• Identify construction issues and develop practical solutions
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and management
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites
• Protect customer property and company equipment
• Assist with project planning and execution
• Work directly with ownership and our architect to ensure projects are completed correctly
• Help build the future remodeling division as the company grows

PLAN READING \& PROJECT COORDINATION

Applicants must be comfortable:

• Reading architectural plans and construction drawings
• Building projects according to approved plans and specifications
• Working directly with our architect and management team
• Identifying discrepancies before work begins
• Coordinating with inspectors, subcontractors, suppliers, and management
• Assisting with project planning, layout, and execution

TECHNOLOGY \& COMMUNICATION

Faith Stone Design \& Build utilizes modern technology and systems to improve communication, accountability, scheduling, and project management.

Applicants must be comfortable using smartphones, mobile apps, and technology throughout the workday.

Responsibilities include:

• Clocking in and out through company software
• Uploading daily photos and videos
• Receiving schedules and work orders digitally
• Communicating through company apps
• Reviewing project scopes and notes electronically
• Providing regular project updates

Applicants who are unwilling to use technology, communicate consistently, or follow company systems will not be a good fit.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Applicants should have strong experience in several of the following areas:

• Kitchens
• Bathrooms
• Deck construction
• Framing
• Room additions
• Tile installation
• Structural repairs
• Window and door installation
• Finish carpentry
• Exterior trim replacement
• Rot repair
• Siding repairs
• General residential remodeling

REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years residential remodeling and carpentry experience
• Ability to read and build from plans
• Strong framing and structural carpentry knowledge
• Experience with kitchens, bathrooms, decks, additions, and remodeling
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Own basic hand tools
• Ability to travel throughout the South Shore service area
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Must live within reasonable driving distance of the South Shore
