ABOUT THE ROLE
An opportunity to join an established Dubai pharmacy, based in Al Barsha, now under new ownership and management and relaunching as a modern, tech-enabled, health and longevity focused pharmacy. This is a forward-looking, service-led pharmacy with real ambition. We are building something fast moving, with in-store, online and clinical services under one roof, and we want a pharmacist who wants to build it with us and grow their own career in the process.

We are hiring our Lead Pharmacist to run the pharmacy day to day as our primary pharmacist.

You will have the full backing and support of management to optimise the pharmacy, the product range and the patient offering. We will invest in you and in the business. In return, you need to bring the knowledge, the clinical judgement and the drive to make the most of it.

WORKING HOURS
This is a full-time, on-site role in a busy, growing pharmacy. Pharmacists here work long hours, six days a week, on a shift pattern shared with our secondary pharmacist, which can include late-night and weekend shifts as we cover the pharmacy’s full opening hours. Typical shifts run around 10 to 12 hours. It is a demanding, hands-on role, and it is exactly that pace and patient volume that makes it a great place to grow fast, build a real patient following and progress your career. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
You must meet all of the following. Each is verified at screening. If you do not meet these requirements, please do not apply.

• Currently living in Dubai. This is not a relocation role. If you are outside the UAE looking to move, please do not apply.
• Currently hold a valid Emirates ID and UAE residency.
• DHA-registered and licensed to practise in Dubai.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Dubai-based pharmacies (minimum 3 years).
• Direct Dubai pharmacy experience with verifiable, checkable references from your employers.
• A genuinely service-focused approach, with a track record of looking after patients well and building loyalty. If you have patients who want to stay with you, we want to hear from you.
• Strong, current product knowledge across OTC, supplements and wellness, and the confidence to recommend products and guide patients, not simply dispense.
• A strong commercial and clinical sense, grounded in what patients actually need and want:
• Demand: you read patient demand and know which products and categories matter to the people who walk in, and why.
• Advice and sales: you turn good clinical advice into the right product in the patient’s hand, so they leave looked after and come back.
• Range and pricing: you understand what patients expect to pay and what represents real value to them, and you help shape a range and price points that serve them well.
• Procurement: you understand how sourcing the right products, reliably and well, keeps patients supplied with what they trust.
• Relationships: established working relationships with other pharmacists and suppliers that you can draw on.
• Experience leading and developing pharmacy technicians, including running or supporting the hiring of pharmacists and technicians.
• Confident with pharmacy software, POS and dispensing systems.
• Solid grounding in dispensing, DHA compliance and SOPs, with experience working to standard.
• Strong, patient-facing communication with excellent spoken English.
• Experience managing a pharmacy floor and the people on it.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Run the pharmacy day to day as our lead, primary pharmacist.
• Serve patients directly: advise, guide and build real relationships. We do not want a purely dispensing pharmacist, we want someone genuinely invested in patient health.
• Own the patient experience, from ease of access and advice in store to easy, reliable delivery of their products.
• Dispense accurately and keep us fully DHA-compliant, working closely with our manager and quality experts on SOPs and standards.
• Recommend the right products across OTC, supplements and wellness, with real knowledge behind every suggestion.
• Help shape the pharmacy’s product range, stock and supplier relationships around what patients need, with full support from management.
• Support our weight management and GLP-1 programmes and work alongside our clinic partners.
• Build supplier and insurance relationships and help shape the product offering.
• Mentor technicians, and lead the hiring and building of the team as we grow.

DESIRABLE
Not essential, but the closer your match, the stronger your application and the stronger the offer.

• Familiarity with online and e-pharmacy models.
• Experience with supplements, wellness and longevity, and guiding patients on them.
• Experience with GLP-1 and weight-loss programmes and clinic partnerships.
• Existing relationships with suppliers and insurance providers you can bring with you.
• A network you can tap to help us hire strong pharmacists and technicians.
• Experience in a growing or multi-channel pharmacy rather than traditional retail only.
• Arabic is a strong advantage given our patient base. Urdu and Hindi speakers are also welcomed.
