About the Role
As a Civil Labourer, you will support construction teams on-site with hands-on tasks that help deliver safe and high-quality infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general civil construction and labouring duties on site
Assist machine operators including excavators, trucks, and graders
Shovel, lift, move, and load materials as required
Support site preparation including digging, backfilling, and levelling
Assist with installing pipes, gravel, barriers, and basic infrastructure
Carry out spotting duties for heavy machinery
Follow all Work Health and Safety (WHS) procedures
Attend toolbox talks and daily safety briefings
Maintain tools, equipment, and keep work areas clean and safe
Work Environment
Outdoor construction and infrastructure sites (roads, rail, subdivisions)
Physically demanding work including lifting and manual handling
Early starts, long shifts, and possible overtime
Some roles may involve regional or rotating site work
What We’re Looking For
White Card
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
Construction or civil experience preferred but not essential
Driver’s licence preferred
Additional tickets (traffic control, forklift, roller) are an advantage
Pay: From $6,000.00 per month
