We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented laboratory manager to oversee the daily operations of our laboratory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high-quality standards, and enforcing safety regulations while supervising laboratory staff and activities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the laboratory
• Supervise, train, and support laboratory staff to ensure optimal performance
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards
• Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and servicing
• Manage inventory levels, including procurement of laboratory supplies and materials
• Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and record-keeping of laboratory activities
• Coordinate and improve workflow processes to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Identify and resolve operational issues within the laboratory
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Maintain excellent relationships with existing company customers and explore new customers

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Laboratory Sciences or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar laboratory management or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of laboratory best practices, safety standards, and quality control
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in record-keeping and reporting
• Excellent relationship management skills

Remuneration: NGN 150,000-250,000 (Negotiable)
