Kitchen Designer

Due to the continuing success of Andersons (Carlisle) Ltd we currently have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales person to join our busy kitchen design team. Experience is preferred but not essential as we are looking for a keen sales person who wants to expand their horizons with a successful career in kitchen design. We appreciate that this is a very unique position and enthusiasm along with the will to learn to progress is primarily what we are looking for.

Based at our Carlisle kitchen showroom you will be responsible for the end-to-end customer experience from initial design concepts, through to completion of sale for a very varied clientele. Opportunities will be provided via quality leads, underpinned by significant and ongoing investment in marketing activity.

As a Kitchen Designer, you should be creative with an aptitude for learning kitchen design and the sales process coupled with a commitment to customer service. Most important is the ability to identify and interpret customers’ needs and deliver kitchen solutions to budget without compromise on design.

Criteria for a successful Kitchen Designer:

• Highly personable and be a great communicator
• Excellent with customer service
• Ability to liaise with consumers, trade and commercial clients on a daily basis
• A sales background is preferred but not essential
• Self-motivated and a team player
• Full Clean Driving Licence
• As a retailer, the ability to work weekends is essential

Salary

A salary at the age-related National Minimum Wage will be paid in addition to an excellent commission structure for successful kitchen sales upon completion of training.
