Junior Software Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Junior Software Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, testing, and supporting software applications and internal digital solutions used across the Group's business operations.

The role will involve working closely with different departments to understand business requirements, improve existing systems, develop software solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and support the continuous digitalization and automation of business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, test, and implement software applications and internal business solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into practical software solutions.
• Develop and maintain web-based applications, internal systems, and business tools.
• Assist in integrating different systems, applications, databases, and third-party platforms.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software-related issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain and improve existing software applications and databases.
• Develop reports, dashboards, forms, and automated workflows according to business requirements.
• Ensure software applications are reliable, secure, scalable, and user-friendly.
• Perform software testing and quality checks before deployment.
• Maintain technical documentation, system documentation, and application specifications.
• Assist with database management, data validation, and data migration when required.
• Investigate system errors and coordinate with IT vendors or external developers when necessary.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users regarding software applications.
• Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
• Follow software development standards, IT security policies, and company procedures.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, programming languages, development tools, and software engineering practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software development or a similar position.
• Previous experience working with business applications, ERP systems, or enterprise software is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of software development principles and practices.
• Good understanding of database concepts.
• Experience with web application development and APIs.
• Knowledge of software testing, debugging, version control, and system integration.
• Candidates should have practical knowledge of the following:
• Programming: C#, .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Web Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or similar frameworks. Database: Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
• APIs \& Integration: REST APIs, web services, and system integrations.
• Version Control: Git or similar tools.
• Reporting: Power BI, SSRS, or other reporting and dashboard tools.
• ERP / Business Systems: Experience supporting or integrating ERP and business management systems is preferred.
• Cloud Technologies: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms an advantage.
• Automation: Knowledge of workflow automation and business process automation is an advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
