Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Safety Engineer / Safety Officer to join our team in Riyadh. This position is suitable for a motivated candidate who has a basic understanding of occupational health and safety and is looking to develop their career in a construction, fit-out, factory, and project-based environment.

The selected candidate will support the implementation of safety procedures and ensure that employees and site activities comply with company and project safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site/factory safety inspections.
• Assist in identifying hazards and assessing workplace risks.
• Monitor the proper use of PPE by employees.
• Support the implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks and basic safety awareness sessions.
• Report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses.
• Maintain safety inspection reports, checklists, and records.
• Assist in preparing risk assessments and method statements.
• Monitor housekeeping and safe working practices.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Support emergency preparedness and safety drills.
• Coordinate with project, production, and management teams regarding safety matters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable company, client, and project safety requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health \& Safety, Safety Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may also apply.
• Basic knowledge of workplace safety, risk assessment, PPE, and HSE procedures.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or other safety certifications will be an advantage.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work at construction sites, factories, and project locations when required.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
