Job Description

Junior Property Manager / Leasing Consultant

Milk Chocolate is looking for a motivated Junior Property Manager / Leasing Consultant to join our growing national property management team based in Sydney.

This is a genuine entry point into property management — not a dead-end admin role. You will be hands-on from day one, with real responsibility across leasing and inspections for our Sydney portfolio, supported by an experienced team that is invested in helping you grow.

If you are early in your real estate career and looking for a business where you can develop quickly, build real skills, and progress into a full Property Manager role, this is worth a serious look.

  • Manage advertising and online listings for vacant properties
  • Handle leasing enquiries, process applications, and manage approvals
  • Coordinate ingoing and outgoing inspections
  • Coordinate with on-the-ground leasing agents for interstate properties
  • Assist with arrears, lease renewals, and general portfolio administration
  • Manage a small allocated Sydney portfolio with direct support from the Property Manager and Senior Property Manager
  • Handle day-to-day tenant and owner communication professionally and promptly
  • Maintain accurate records across all systems and tools
  • Support the wider PM team with general administration as required

What You Bring

  • Current Certificate of Registration (COR) — essential
  • 1–2 years of real estate experience, ideally in leasing or property management
  • Strong entry-level candidates with the right attitude will also be considered
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well organised with high attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-focused with a proactive, can-do attitude

What Success Looks Like

  • Leasing activity managed efficiently with low vacancy and strong applicant quality
  • Clear, timely communication with tenants and owners
  • A proactive approach — issues flagged early and actioned quickly

Reporting Line

Reports to and works closely with the Property Manager, Senior Property Manager, and General Manager.
