In line with the College’s continuous academic expansion and strategic development plans, applications are invited for the position of Junior Lecturer within the Academic Department.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective teaching and learning activities for certificate, diploma and degree students in the assigned discipline.
  • Prepare and conduct lectures, tutorials, assessments, laboratory sessions and learning activities in line with programme and accreditation requirements.
  • Assist in the development, review and improvement of teaching materials, assessments and course contents.
  • Apply engaging and student-centred teaching approaches, including digital learning tools and online platforms.
  • Provide academic consultation, mentoring and guidance to students, including monitoring student progress and supporting weaker students.
  • Prepare, invigilate and mark examinations, assignments and coursework in a timely manner.
  • Participate in moderation, examination boards, programme review and quality assurance activities.
  • Support student activities, competitions, industrial visits, recruitment events, Open Days and College activities when required.
  • Contribute towards scholarly activities, professional development and industry collaboration initiatives.
  • Assist in academic administrative duties and other responsibilities assigned by the School or College management.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, procedures and academic regulations.

Requirements

  • Possess a recognised Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised institution.
  • Working experience and/or relevant industry exposure will be an added advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with strong academic achievements are encouraged to apply.
  • Good command of spoken and written English with good communication and presentation skills.
  • Passionate in teaching, student development and continuous learning.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Possess good organisational, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms and basic teaching technologies will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrate commitment towards professionalism, academic quality and student engagement.
