Job Description

A Day in Your Life at MKS/Atotech:

As a Junior HR Operations Analyst at MKS Inc., you will play a key role in delivering a seamless employee experience by supporting and evolving our global HR Operations model. You will partner closely with HR teams to drive efficiency, improve processes, and support our Workday ecosystem.

Role supports a global, international team; flexibility in working hours is required, with a standard schedule of 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (local time) for training (up to 6 months)

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Providing excellent customer service when handling first-tier HR inquiries; effectively triaging and routing tickets to the appropriate COEs based on complexity.
  • Supporting core Workday modules (HCM, Talent, Learning, Recruiting, Payroll) by applying strong systems acumen and following established guidance.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and providing guidance, training, and support to HR teams and end-users on our Workday modules (HCM, Talent, Learning, Recruiting, Payroll, etc.), processes, and best practices.
  • Troubleshooting a variety of technical problems and learning from subject matter experts across numerous disciplines of HR.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance efficiencies, drive operational excellence, and standardize across the company or department.
  • Developing and maintaining HR process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and workflow diagrams, to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance.
  • Collaborating on HR projects as they arise.

Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information professionally.
  • Strong focus on meeting deadlines while adapting to shifting priorities and managing multiple tasks efficiently in fast-paced settings.
  • Experience in a problem-solving environment, where good decisions must be made under time constraints.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization and work effectively as a member of a cross-functional Human Resources team.
  • Microsoft Office, Excel knowledge required.
  • Fluency in English, Polish is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience with Workday.
