We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our expanding design studio, Stray Dog, part of the Doggett Group, based in Harold's Cross, Dublin 12.

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic designer looking to develop their career in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment. You'll work across a variety of projects, from design layout through to pre-press, gaining valuable experience while working alongside an experienced team. The majority of our work is print based, so an interest in print design and production is essential. A good understanding of digital and pre-press file setup is also essential.

While 1+ years' experience in a design environment is an advantage, it is not essential. We welcome applications from recent graduates or junior designers with a strong portfolio and a willingness to learn.

Key Requirements

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Creative flair with excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a positive, proactive attitude.
• A willingness to learn, develop new skills, and work collaboratively within a team.

Desirable Skills

Experience in any of the following would be considered an advantage, but are not essential:

• Experience designing brochures and other publications.
• Experience with accessible design.
• Experience designing social media graphics and assets.
• Video, animation, or illustration skills.
• Experience with data merge and mailing campaigns.
• Experience working with keylines and or packaging/carton design.
