Job Description

As a valuable member of our Financial Planning \& Analysis team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support business operations and help them to achieve their goals.

The Financial Planning \& Analysis Team is responsible for gathering and maintaining the financial performance tailored to the needs of Citco Executive Committee. The team works closely across Citco’s various Lines of Business and Citco Group functions in helping formulate proposed strategic projects, and oversee effective implementation, with an overarching aim to bring maximum efficiency and shareholder wealth to the Group.

  • You will be a key contributor to the Financial Planning \& Analysis Team and be primarily responsible for working on management reporting (both IT and Non-IT), budgeting and forecasting, analysis, strategic projects, financial modelling and directing and ensuring the execution of projects.
  • Management reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the management team and external stakeholders, such as investors and lenders. Ensure that financial reports comply with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project status reporting process that captures project status, progress, and any deviations from the plan. This should be done in collaboration with the project manager, and should include key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure project success.
  • Work with the management team to develop budgets and forecasts for the company. Monitor actual performance against budgeted expectations and recommend actions to address variances.
  • Involved in resource planning for operational and IT projects, including identifying staffing needs and ensuring that appropriate resources are available to complete the project.
  • Modelling and Analytical Technical Skills
  • Contribute in all analytical based tasks and be able to competently produce financial models and projections to support strategic planning, due diligence activities and decision-making. Analyze financial data and prepare reports on financial performance (including integrated income statement, balance sheet and cash flow models, cost/benefit analysis, cash and liquidity analysis, operational, commercial and financing sensitivity and scenario analysis)
  • Leverage data analytics, automation tools, and emerging AI capabilities to enhance the quality, efficiency, and scalability of financial analysis and reporting.
  • Understand commercial drivers of Citco and able to succinctly articulate this to stakeholders
  • Effectively report deliverables and key information (financial and non-financial) to senior stakeholders (Executive Committee, Board of Directors and Management Team) for key decision making
  • Creating reports and presentations and translating our findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders to support robust, evidence-based decisions
  • Reporting \& Data Visualisation – New Addition
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualisations (e.g., using Power BI) to support management reporting and enhance insight delivery.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, visually compelling outputs to support senior stakeholder decision-making.
  • Project Management
  • Take personal responsibility for individually assigned areas, ensuring delivery and continuation of project momentum
  • Continue to drive changes for more precise and insightful accurate analysis, to expose the underlying root of issues, and therefore creating actionable results which adds value to the organisation
  • Bringing structure and clarity to complex problems and business scenarios within tight deadlines, and making sure the team is supported in times of high pressure and ambiguity
  • Actively identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency, demonstrating curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset in day-to-day tasks.
  • Business Partnering
  • Confidently work with business stakeholders across the Citco Group (e.g. Legal, Tax, HR, IT and Operations) by leading calls and ensuring collaboration of ideas/opportunities are well documented and open actions are easily identifiable
  • Manage and develop relationships within the organisation to maximise knowledge-sharing, cooperation and the efficient progress of the project
  • Communication
  • Support the Head of the Financial Planning \& Analysis Team, ensuring clear and concise communication between the Executive Reporting Team and its Senior stakeholders
  • Able to articulate complex financial or technical concepts to non-finance stakeholders
  • Leadership and ability to direct workflow throughout underlying stakeholders

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a quantitative subject (Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business). Masters Degree preferred but not required.

  • 1-2 years work experience required, preferably in a quantitative based role (e.g. Audit, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, FP\&A, Corporate Development etc.).
  • Proficient in MS Excel with experience of performing complex analysis and modelling
  • Experience with Power BI (or similar data visualisation tools), including building dashboards and presenting insights effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience using or exposure to AI-enabled tools (e.g., automation, data analysis, or reporting tools) within a professional environment.
  • Inquisitive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement, actively seeking opportunities to drive efficiencies and optimise processes.
  • Highly numerical and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • In-depth knowledge of data modelling techniques, and practice of working with data in various forms
  • Ability to turn complex concepts in simple information/language
  • Commercial mindset and deep technical skills to produce rapid and clear outcomes
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and solve problems.
  • Capacity to working both individually and as part of a team Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen to and respect colleagues, particularly across cultures.
