Position Summary
We are seeking an IT Systems and Infrastructure Administrator to join our North American IT team and help manage, secure, and modernize the company's technology infrastructure across multiple locations. This is a high-impact role designed for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys end-to-end ownership of systems, technical leadership, and collaborating with IT management on strategic initiatives.
The successful candidate will support critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, networking, and business systems. This individual will also serve as a senior escalation resource and play a key role in acquisition, migration, upgrade, and continuous operational improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities - Infrastructure \& Operations
You will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and evolving the organization's IT infrastructure, including: * Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, and Azure Virtual Machines; * Windows Server (2019, 2022, and 2025); * Azure cloud platforms and hybrid VMware environments; * Network, wireless, and IP telephony solutions (3CX or equivalent).
You will also: * Ensure system availability, performance, backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring; * Administer DNS services, Cloudflare, domains, and related migrations; * Manage the workstation lifecycle, including deployment, patching, automation, and asset management; * Apply ITSM best practices, including incident, change, and documentation management.
Security \& Compliance
You will actively contribute to maintaining and enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture. Technologies include: * Palo Alto Cortex (EDR); * Netskope Secure Web Gateway; * Proofpoint Secure Email Gateway; * Security awareness platforms and phishing simulation tools; * Vulnerability management and web security solutions.
You will also participate in: * IT governance and compliance initiatives; * Firewall administration, patch management, and endpoint hardening; * Microsoft Copilot deployment and governance; * Continuous improvement of organizational security practices.
Networking \& Endpoint Management
You will administer, maintain, and optimize networking and endpoint management environments, including: * Fortinet platforms (firewalls, switches, and wireless access points); * HPE Aruba environments; * Microsoft Intune; * Remote management platforms such as ScreenConnect and ManageEngine.
You will also provide support and incident resolution for these environments.
Projects \& Technical Leadership
You will play an important role in the organization's technology transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities include: * Participating in the planning, analysis, and implementation of infrastructure projects; * Contributing to migration, acquisition, integration, and modernization projects; * Acting as a Level 3 escalation point for complex technical issues; * Sharing expertise and mentoring less experienced team members; * Creating and maintaining technical documentation; * Providing executive-level support when required.
Collaboration \& Vendor Management
You will work closely with IT teams across Canada and the United States to ensure the stability and continuous improvement of technology environments.
Additional responsibilities include: * Coordinating activities with technology vendors and partners; * Supporting branch locations throughout North America; * Participating in the continuous improvement of IT processes and services.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a technology enthusiast who is recognized for their autonomy, analytical mindset, and ability to solve complex problems.
You possess: * 5 to 7 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or multi-site IT operations; * Strong experience with the following technologies: + Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID; + Windows Server (DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, NPS, File/Print Services, etc.); + Networking, firewalls, wireless technologies, and security infrastructure; + Endpoint management and Microsoft Intune; + Hybrid cloud and virtualization environments; * Experience with business applications or ERP systems (Epicor Prophet 21, Fidelio, or equivalent); * Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or other automation tools; * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Fortinet and HPE Aruba networking technologies; * Experience supporting business acquisitions, infrastructure migrations, or multi-site organizations; * Industry-recognized certifications such as: + Microsoft Certifications (Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows); + CompTIA; + VMware VCP (VMware Certified Professional); + Networking certifications (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English are required.
