IT Support Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated IT Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, resolving daily technical issues, and ensuring smooth operations for end-users. You will handle tasks ranging from hardware upgrades and OS troubleshooting to network configurations and security awareness.

Key Responsibilities

Hardware Maintenance

• Troubleshoot and manage computer hardware
• Perform hardware upgrades and replacements as required

Operating System Support

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows environments
• Use Device Manager and Control Panel for system management

Linux Administration

• Perform basic Linux terminal operations
• Execute commands
• Manage file permissions and basic system navigation

Network Setup \& Troubleshooting

• Understand and support basic networking concepts and Configure and troubleshoot Cabling
• Perform crimping and network cable testing for office setups
• Systems Administration
• Manage Active Directory
• Support Microsoft 365 applications

Hardware \& Peripherals

• Configure BIOS/UEFI settings
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot peripherals

IT Security

• Deploy and monitor antivirus and firewall solutions
• Promote cybersecurity awareness

Helpdesk \& Support

• Use ticketing systems to log, track, and resolve user issues
• Provide remote and on-site technical support
• Follow standard IT troubleshooting procedures

Requirements \& Qualifications

• Strong understanding of core IT infrastructure and OSI model
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of networking devices and protocols
• Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service sk
