Job Summary

Nusrat Bilisim is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to manage, maintain, and optimize the organization’s IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable system performance, network stability, security, and business continuity across servers, networks, endpoints, and related technology platforms.

This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with Windows/Linux environments, networking, virtualization, security, backups, and infrastructure monitoring. Similar infrastructure roles in Muscat commonly emphasize server administration, network support, security, high availability, backup, and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain servers, network devices, storage systems, and other IT infrastructure.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity to minimize downtime.
• Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade hardware, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
• Support virtualization platforms and maintain virtual machines and related resources.
• Implement and maintain IT security controls, access management, endpoint protection, and system hardening.
• Monitor backups and participate in disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure incidents and recurring technical problems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure, configurations, assets, and technical procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for infrastructure projects, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Assist with infrastructure planning, technology improvements, and system optimization.
• Ensure IT operations follow organizational security policies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, network administration, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
• Practical understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, routing, and switching.
• Experience with virtualization, backup systems, monitoring tools, and infrastructure security.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Certifications

• CompTIA Network+ or Security+
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Cisco CCNA
• VMware or other virtualization certifications
• Microsoft Windows Server certifications
