About the Project
Client is deploying a comprehensive Hospital Information System (HIS) across one of the region’s largest hospitals and its network of branches. The infrastructure must support a mission-critical, highly available, and scalable application, with flexibility to run on either cloud or on-premises environments.
Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Implementation \& Support (preferable skills)

  • Deploy and maintain infrastructure including application, database, reporting, and disaster recovery servers.
  • Configure and support SQL Server Always On Availability Groups or Replication environments.
  • Ensure infrastructure components meet architectural and operational standards.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Cloud Cloud VPC infrastructure, including OS updates and patching.
  • Server, Network \& OHice IT Management – Must have skills
  • Implement server and storage configurations (CPU, RAM, Disk, RAID) per sizing documents.
  • Configure and maintain firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and broadband/Wi-Fi connectivity across o\ices.
  • Ensure availability of TFS servers, remote desktops, o\ice printers, TVs, and HDMI connectivity for presentations.
  • Manage network infrastructure and ensure high availability and performance.

  • Monitor servers, VMs, and network components using tools like SolarWinds, SCOM, and PRTG.
  • Respond to alerts/incidents, perform root cause analysis, and apply corrective actions.
  • Perform regular patching, updates, and health checks.
  • Provide IT support to sta\ for hardware/software issues, MS365, and other IT-related matters.
  • Enforce access control, endpoint protection, and device policies (e.g., GPO via Active Directory).
  • Manage MS365 licenses and security configurations.
  • Support audits, vulnerability scans, and remediation plans.
  • Maintain ISO 27001 documentation and compliance processes.
  • Execute backup routines and ensure integrity across systems.
  • Support DR testing and synchronization of DR sites.
  • Manage hosting, domains, and websites across SB group companies (Connected Care,Ring), including renewals and IP configurations.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure Architects, DBAs, Application teams, and Vendors.
  • Maintain documentation: SOPs, network diagrams, asset inventories, patch rollout plans, and system integrations (e.g., Chemolin, Synapse, Beaconx).
  • Gather project requirements for IT infrastructure/software, obtain vendor quotations,and advise management.
  • Manage and maintain corporate SharePoints and Master Project Repository.
  • Track, allocate, and manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle.
  • Source and procure hardware, software, and other IT components.
  • Facilitate Client sta\ access to cleint servers, VPN, and Wi-Fi.
  • Configure and document print servers and label alignment.
  • Support credit card terminal integration (Maybank, OCBC).
  • Monitor TCARE VM infrastructure and document usage.
  • Configure HL7 and e-Invoicing as Windows Services with documentation.
  • Assist in integration with bank e-commerce facilities and SMTP email setup (Connected Care).
  • Support infrastructure planning and costing for Ring projects.
  • Coordinate HIS and CATS performance testing, vendor engagement, remediation, and re-testing.
  • Participate in CIS UAT, e-Invoice setup, and SRS documentation.
  • 3-5 years in IT infrastructure/system administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization.
  • Strong understanding of high availability, DR, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with networking, firewalls, storage, and enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Experience with MS365 administration, IT support, and asset management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • CompTIA Network+ or Security+
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  • Cisco Certified: CCNA

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
