Job Title: Arabic \& Islamic Studies Teacher
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Arabic \& Islamic Studies Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Arabic language and Islamic Studies, developing students’ language skills, moral values, and understanding of Islamic principles in a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective Arabic and Islamic Studies lessons according to the curriculum requirements.
- Teach Arabic reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and communication skills.
- Deliver Islamic Studies lessons covering Islamic values, morals, history, beliefs, and practices according to the approved curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, quizzes, and assessments.
- Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage students to develop good character, respect, discipline, and positive values.
- Create an engaging, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.
- Provide additional support to students who require improvement in language or subject understanding.
- Communicate with parents regarding students’ progress when required.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, school events, and academic activities.
- Follow institute policies, curriculum standards, and UAE education requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Arabic, Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification/certification preferred.
- Previous experience teaching Arabic and Islamic Studies.
- Experience with British Curriculum / IGCSE is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Arabic language and Islamic Studies.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and educational technology.
