Logistics \& Supply Chain Coordinator EMEA (m/f/d)

For our IRONMAN Germany in Liederbach we are seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Logistics \& Supply Chain Coordinator EMEA (m/f/d). The Logistics \& Supply Chain Coordinator reports directly to the EMEA Logistics Manager and works closely with the regional operations team, as well with the Senior Supply Chain Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing supply chain processes such as collecting data for designs, order quantities and preparing final PO´s for event and non-event-branded bulk items.
- Monitoring of order deadlines and responsible of sending follow ups with colleagues on missing data.
- Support Supply Chain Manager on regular analyses of check in numbers and place necessary reorders autonomously.
- Support Supply Chain Manager on setting up order deadlines with the suppliers and sharing these with the respective departments in IRONMAN.
- First point of contact for suppliers regarding regular questions on order and delivery questions.
- Assisting on designing processes and design approvals and coordinate approvals with other departments such as Marketing and Operations.
- Handle short term order requests.
- Scheduling and managing the communication around incoming bulk deliveries with suppliers and forwarders in close coordination with local warehouse team, including pro-active support on unloading all kind of bulk shipments.
- Responsible for incoming inspection of any kind of bulk items, including quantity and quality check and execute action in case of non-conformities.
- Prepare Bulk Truck packing lists.
- Prepare documentation for customs such as packing lists and commercial invoices.
- Coordination of the Bulk truck loadings in Liederbach and on-site arrivals with local teams.
- Supporting on missing bulk items on-site.
- Coordinate preparation and inventory management of non-branded bulk items after the race season, focusing on ordering new equipment to ensure that warehouse is re-stocked for the first race.
- Process invoices.
Additionally, this position involves general warehouse tasks as outlined below, and the Logistics \& Supply Chain Coordinator will be fully expected to dedicate sufficient time to these tasks on a regarded ongoing basis. This may include assisting onsite at events around EMEA in a logistics capacity and at other warehouse locations around EMEA as needed, support the local warehouse team with Tour Truck unloading and German warehouse inventory.
What You Bring to the Team
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in logistics or apprenticeship as logistics management.
- First experience in logistics or event supply management is welcome.
- Fluency in English and German language is a must.
- Strong communication skills to build efficient working relationships with cross functional partners.
- Analytical and structured thinking with a focus on detail and diligence.
- Open to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring new process creation, process improvement, and project management.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays, including a proper amount of physical work.
- Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (primarily SharePoint, Excel and Outlook)
- Solid financial understanding.
