The Opportunity

Working closely with senior leaders, you will contribute to investment decisions, due diligence and impact measurement, while gaining exposure to global social ventures and a broad range of stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the assessment of funding opportunities across grants, equity and debt investments
  • Conducting financial analysis, modelling and research to support investment decisions
  • Assisting with due diligence, including reviewing strategy, organisational performance and impact metrics
  • Monitoring portfolio organisations and evaluating social impact outcomes
  • Preparing reports and investment papers for internal decision-making
  • Conducting research into sectors, geographies and emerging trends
  • Supporting relationships with portfolio organisations and external stakeholders

About You

You are a bright, intellectually curious and commercially minded professional who enjoys solving complex problems and turning analysis into insight.

Ideally, you will bring:

  • 2–4 years' experience in investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, transaction services or another analytical environment
  • Strong financial analysis, modelling and research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to synthesise complex information
  • A proactive approach and a strong desire to learn
  • An interest in social impact and global development

Previous exposure to impact investing or the not-for-profit sector would be beneficial but is not essential.
