KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) Muscat Office is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Intern to support our marketing and business development activities in Oman. This is a short-term internship offering valuable hands-on experience in trade facilitation and market research.
Overview \& Schedule
- Position: Marketing \& Operations Intern
- Duration: Up to 2 months (Expected: 1 August 2026 – 30 September 2026, Flexible)
- Location: Muscat, Oman
- Visa Support: No Visa Sponsorship Provided(All applicants must already hold a valid visa/residency allowing them to legally work/intern in Oman.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Conduct market research, identify local Omani buyers, and establish initial contacts.
- Translating documents, inquiries, and communications between Arabic and English.
- Drafting market intelligence reports and meeting summaries.
- Assisting with logistics and coordination for visiting business delegations.
- Facilitating and setting up virtual/online business matchmaking meetings.
- Performing other ad-hoc duties and general administrative support as assigned by the team.
Requirements \& Qualifications
- English (Required): Professional proficiency (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Arabic \& Korean (Preferred): Proficiency in Arabic and/or Korean is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills, culturally adaptable, and capable of working in a professional business environment.
