Intern English Teacher

We are a tuition centre located near Lakeside, Singapore, looking for a motivated Intern English Teacher / English Curriculum Assistant to join our team for a 6-month internship.

Position: Intern English Teacher / English Curriculum Assistant
Location: Near Lakeside, Singapore
Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and preparing English learning materials and teaching resources
• Support English lessons for students of different levels
• Guide students through homework, writing tasks, and reading comprehension exercises
• Explain grammar, vocabulary, and exam-related questions clearly
• Help review and improve lesson content based on students’ learning needs

Requirements:

• Preferably a current Master’s student from NUS or NTU
• Background in English, English Literature, Linguistics, Education, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or related fields
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Responsible, patient, and comfortable working with students
• Able to commit to a 6-month internship
• Candidates with an IB background or experience teaching IB-related English subjects will be given priority
