An interior design site supervisor oversees daily on-site operations for renovation or construction projects, ensuring execution aligns with design drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards. Key responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors (carpenters, painters, painters, MEP), managing schedules, maintaining safety protocols, reporting progress to project managers, and resolving site issues.Key Responsibilities \& Duties
- Site Execution: Supervise day-to-day site activities, ensuring adherence to interior fit-out drawings and detailed drawings.
- Quality Control: Inspect work to meet high-quality standards and rectify any defects, deficiencies, or deviations promptly.
- Scheduling: Ensure tasks are completed according to the project timeline and milestones.
- Coordination: Act as the link between management, designers, clients, and contractors.
- Material Management: Organize, monitor, and coordinate material deliveries and inventory on-site.
- Safety Compliance: Implement safety regulations, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure all personnel comply with safety practices, such as wearing protective equipment.
- Reporting: Prepare daily or weekly site reports, including progress photos, for management review.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of architectural drawings, joinery details, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
- Experience: Previous experience in interior fit-outs, construction, or a similar role.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, and sometimes AutoCAD for verifying drawings.
