Job Overview
In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and contractors (including our in house joinery department) to develop innovative interior concepts that reflect clients’ visions and needs. Your expertise will drive the entire design process, from conceptual sketches to detailed plans, ensuring each project is executed flawlessly. This is an in person role based near Bradford City Centre
Duties
- Develop comprehensive interior design concepts using industry-standard software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Enscape to visualize ideas clearly and accurately.
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and 3D renderings to communicate design intent effectively to clients and project teams.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously by coordinating schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences, needs, and budget constraints, translating these insights into innovative design solutions.
- Oversee the selection of materials, furnishings, lighting, and finishes that align with design concepts and project specifications.
- Work closely with contractors and construction teams to ensure designs are accurately implemented on-site, providing guidance throughout the construction process.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite tools for presentation boards and visual storytelling to present to clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed project documentation including specifications, schedules, and progress reports to ensure seamless communication across all phases of the project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
- Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Enscape, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
- Solid understanding of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating precise technical drawings.
- Experience managing projects from concept through construction with excellent organizational skills.
- Construction experience is highly desirable to facilitate effective communication with builders and contractors.
- Strong visual communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly through sketches and digital renderings.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and sustainable design practices is a plus.
Pay: £27,000.00-£33,250.00 per year
