We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to design functional, aesthetically pleasing, and safe interior spaces for residential, commercial, or hospitality projects. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, excellent space-planning skills, and the ability to manage projects from concept through completion while meeting client requirements, budgets, and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget.
- Develop creative design concepts, mood boards, and space plans.
- Prepare detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and design presentations using design software.
- Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, lighting, color schemes, and decorative materials.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers throughout the project.
- Prepare project specifications, material schedules, and cost estimates.
- Visit project sites to monitor progress and ensure work complies with design plans.
- Manage project timelines and resolve design or construction issues as they arise.
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and sustainable design practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer or similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software.
- Strong knowledge of space planning, color theory, furniture, lighting, and materials.
- Excellent creativity, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with residential, commercial, retail, or hospitality interior projects.
- Knowledge of building codes and construction processes.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with sustainable and environmentally friendly design principles.
Pay: QAR60,000.00 - QAR75,000.00 per year
