Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Interior Fit-Out Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of proven experience in the interior fit-out industry, with strong expertise in woodwork, joinery, solid surfaces, and interior finishing works. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating between the design office, factory, and project sites to ensure smooth production, accurate fabrication, and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate between project sites, factory production, and design teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Review and prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate fabrication details for custom joinery, woodworks, solid surfaces, and interior finishing elements.
- Supervise and monitor site installation activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions prior to fabrication.
- Ensure quality control throughout fabrication and installation processes.
- Monitor project schedules and report progress to the project manager.
- Prepare material take-offs and coordinate procurement requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in interior fit-out projects.
- Strong experience in woodworks, joinery, decorative finishes, and interior finishing works.
- Excellent knowledge of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and construction details.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Experience with SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, or 3ds Max is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and factory production coordination.
- Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings accurately.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with luxury residential, hospitality, retail, and commercial fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of solid surface fabrication, natural stone, engineered stone, and metal works is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CNC manufacturing and production workflows is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills
Pay: KD400.000 - KD550.000 per month
