Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Infrastructure Consultant to design, implement, support, and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure solutions. The role is responsible for servers, virtualization platforms, cloud environments, storage, network connectivity, security controls, and disaster recovery solutions, with a focus on the availability and performance of business-critical systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Management

· Administer Windows and Linux server environments.

· Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Oracle VM.

· Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, availability, and performance.

· Perform system upgrades, patching, and planned maintenance activities.

Cloud and Data Center Operations

· Support cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Microsoft Azure, or AWS.

· Configure and manage cloud resources, networking, compute, and storage services.

· Participate in cloud migration and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Network and Security

· Collaborate with network and security teams to maintain secure infrastructure.

· Implement infrastructure hardening, access controls, and security best practices.

· Support firewall, VPN, load balancer, DNS, and related connectivity configurations.

Backup and Disaster Recovery

· Manage backup and recovery solutions.

· Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.

· Support business continuity and recovery requirements.

Project Implementation

· Design and deploy enterprise infrastructure solutions.

· Participate in infrastructure assessments and architecture reviews.

· Prepare technical documentation, implementation plans, and operational procedures.

Troubleshooting and Support

· Provide L2/L3 support for infrastructure-related incidents.

· Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

· Support production, test, and disaster recovery environments.

Stakeholder Engagement

· Work closely with business users, application teams, vendors, and project managers.

· Provide technical consultancy and practical recommendations to clients.

· Conduct knowledge-transfer and technical training sessions when required.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

· 4-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, implementation, or consulting.

· Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.

· Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.

· Understanding of storage, backup, Active Directory, and Group Policy.

· Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

· Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity concepts.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

· Experience with OCI, Microsoft Azure, or AWS.

· Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies.

· Experience with infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools.

· Scripting skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

· Preferred certifications include Azure Administrator Associate, OCI Associate/Professional, VMware VCP, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, ITIL Foundation, or CCNA/CCNP.

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
