We have an Immediate Opening OCP Engineer / Senior Analyst, Web Services \& MQ (OCP)

with our reputed Client.

Client Location KL, Malaysia

Experience: 5 years to 8 years

Primary Responsibilities:

Seeking OCP Engineer to support and manage Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes clusters end to end. You will also require to look into design and architecture of the OCP together with application requirement. As a subject matter expert in OCP, you are required to provide consultation to end-user/application developers, developing and maintaining tools for managing the OCP infrastructure.

These are the main responsibilities and not limited to:

· Provide end to end support for Red Hat OCP including managing and ensuring system uptime in OCP.

· Design, setup and build of Red Hat OCP infrastructure.

· Patch, bug fix, and upgrade of Red Hat OCP.

· Develop scripts in shell/python to automate monitoring and repetitive job.

· Provide 24/7 support on weekly rotational basis.

· Constantly work with application team to fine tune the performance of the applications running in Red Hat OCP.

· Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issue, log case to Red Hat support and follow up closely with Red Hat to close the case.

• The candidate must be able to work as a member of the support team in providing timely and efficient support to assigned operations.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations and maintenance of a critical web base applications
• Collaborate in assessing current and expected application needs, configuration, maintenance, optimization and documentation.
• Follow and apply configuration and security standards and policies within a defined Change Management process.
• Assist with implementing solutions for web base applications; Implement common preventive maintenance practices for web applications and ensure that system improvements and changes are implemented correctly and completely, and monitor all effects of the modifications.
• Manage and renew SSL certificates.

Requirements:

· Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting OCP or Kubenetes technology.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in container image deployment.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in unix operating systems, configurations, maintenance, and upgrade.

· Basic knowledge in developing Java applications/microservices,

· Familiar with DevOps tools such as GitHub.

· Knowledge in Cloud Native Architecture will be added value.

· Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server (IBM WAS), IBM MQ, Oracle WebLogic, Red Hat JBOSS and webservices such as Apache will be added value.

· Knowledge in SSL cert generation and installation.

· Good knowledge in Python, Ansible, Shell scripting \& etc

· Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills and problem identification.

· Able to work extended hours.
