ACE Education Bahrain is looking for an experienced and qualified IBDP Chemistry SL Tutor to provide in-person tutoring to a Year 11 student in A’ali, Bahrain.

• Position: IBDP Chemistry SL Tutor
• Curriculum: International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)
• Subject: Chemistry Standard Level (SL)
• Student Level: Year 11
• Location: A’ali, Bahrain
• Mode: In-person / Home Tuition
• Day: Friday
• Time: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
• Duration: 1.5 hours per session
• Frequency: Once per week
• Start Date: To be confirmed

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Chemistry SL tutoring in accordance with the IBDP curriculum.
• Support the student in understanding key concepts and applying scientific principles.
• Assist with homework, assignments, practical-related concepts, and exam preparation.
• Develop the student’s problem-solving, analytical, and examination techniques.
• Monitor academic progress and adapt lessons to the student’s learning needs.

Requirements

• A strong academic background in Chemistry or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching IBDP Chemistry SL is essential.
• Thorough knowledge of the IB Chemistry curriculum, assessment criteria, and examination requirements.
• Experience preparing Year 11 students for IB assessments.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills.
• Ability to provide in-person tutoring in A’ali, Bahrain.
• Punctual, reliable, and committed to the student’s academic progress.
