Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to supervise the installation, commissioning, maintenance, testing, and repair of HVAC systems across commercial and industrial facilities. The successful candidate will lead maintenance teams, ensure plant reliability, optimize system performance, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems and equipment.
• Plan and execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Lead and supervise technicians and contractors, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Review work requests, allocate manpower and materials, and monitor work progress.
• Diagnose equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.
• Oversee the maintenance of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, DX units, cooling towers, package units, split ACs, cold rooms, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
• Supervise air balancing, water balancing, and indoor air quality (IAQ) testing activities.
• Maintain Building Management Systems (BMS), Chiller Management Systems, PLC-controlled HVAC equipment, VFDs, and MCC panels.
• Ensure compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW), safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Prepare daily, monthly, incident, equipment failure, and maintenance reports.
• Assist in preparing maintenance plans, spare parts requirements, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Participate in plant modifications, system upgrades, and commissioning of new installations.
• Utilize CAFM and ERP systems to manage maintenance activities and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, HSE, and quality management standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and operations.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in Facilities Management, commercial buildings, or Oil \& Gas environments.
• Hands-on experience with microprocessor-controlled chillers, Chiller Management Systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, cooling towers, package units, split units, heat pumps, and cold rooms.
• Experience with air balancing, water balancing, PLC-controlled HVAC systems, VFDs, and MCC panels.
• Familiarity with CAFM, ERP applications, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures.
• Excellent troubleshooting, leadership, and team management skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong computer proficiency and technical reporting skills.

Pay: QAR12,000.00 per month
