Job Description

Urgent Hiring – HSE Officer (RLIC Project), Qatar

We are urgently looking for a qualified and experienced HSE Officer for an RLIC (Ras Laffan Industrial City) project in Qatar. Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
  • Mandatory experience in RLIC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, or Industrial Construction projects
  • Experience in shutdowns, maintenance, EPC, or construction projects is preferred

Mandatory Requirements

  • Valid Qatar Driving License
  • Immediate availability to join
  • Valid QID with transferable visa (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of RLIC Safety Regulations and Permit to Work (PTW) System

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering/Science or equivalent
  • NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory)
  • IOSH Managing Safely / OSHA Certification (Preferred)
  • First Aid & Fire Fighting Training Certificates (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies, client requirements, and RLIC regulations.
  • Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
  • Carry out Risk Assessments (RA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Tool Box Talks (TBT).
  • Monitor high-risk activities including lifting operations, hot work, confined space entry, excavation, and working at height.
  • Verify Permit to Work (PTW) compliance before commencement of work.
  • Conduct safety inductions for new employees and subcontractors.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and submit detailed reports.
  • Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all workers.
  • Monitor housekeeping standards and environmental compliance.
  • Coordinate emergency response drills and evacuation exercises.
  • Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, and statutory documentation.
  • Liaise with client HSE representatives and participate in safety meetings.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure zero harm at the workplace.

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR5,500.00 per month
