Job Description

HR MANAGER (F\&B / Seafood Restaurant) – Johor Bahru

Key Requirements

✅ Age: 30 – 45 years old

✅ Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field

✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a managerial position

✅ Experience in the F\&B, restaurant, hospitality, or chain restaurant industry is a significant advantage

✅ Proficient in managing:

* Recruitment \& Hiring

* Staff Retention

* Performance Management

* Payroll Administration

* Disciplinary Matters

* Employee Relations

* Training \& Development

✅ Knowledgeable in:

* Malaysian Employment Act 1955

* Malaysian Labour Laws

* EPF, SOCSO, and EIS regulations

* Leave administration, overtime (OT), and shift scheduling management

✅ Experience in managing a workforce of more than 50 employees

✅ Capable of developing HR SOPs and ensuring company compliance with employment laws and regulations

✅ Experience managing employees at various levels, including:

* Restaurant Manager

* Supervisor

* Kitchen Crew

* Service Crew

* Cashier

* Cleaner

✅ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and HR/Payroll systems

✅ Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills

✅ Willing to work in a hands-on environment and support operations when required

Preferred Candidate

⭐ Previous experience working in seafood restaurants, Muslim Chinese restaurants, family restaurants, or chain restaurants

⭐ Experience in opening new outlets and handling mass recruitment

⭐ Possesses a strong recruitment network in Johor Bahru

⭐ Able to communicate effectively in both Bahasa Malaysia and English

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

1. Staff turnover rate below 15% annually

2. Time-to-hire within 14 days

3. Staff attendance rate above 95%

4. Zero major labour law non-compliance cases

5. 100% payroll accuracy every month

6. Training completion rate above 90%
