We are seeking a Hospitality Technology \& Operations Manager to manage and improve the technology and operational systems supporting our bar business. The role combines hands-on management of our EPOS/payment systems, stock control, CCTV, networking, staff access, digital platforms and online customer engagement, identifying ways technology can improve efficiency, customer experience and business performance.
Key Responsibilities Manage and support the bar’s Square terminals and payment systems, including troubleshooting day-to-day payment and connectivity issues. Oversee stock management systems, helping management track inventory, stock movement, wastage and product performance.
Manage and maintain CCTV systems, including system availability, access and coordination with external CCTV suppliers where required.
Maintain the venue’s Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, networking equipment and other operational technology. Create and manage individual user accounts and access permissions for bar staff, ensuring appropriate access is provided when employees join, change roles or leave.
Support the technology used for bar operations, customer service and management reporting.
Manage the company website and other customer-facing digital platforms. Support the business’s online presence, social media engagement and digital customer-acquisition activities.
Use sales, stock, customer and digital-platform data to identify trends and opportunities to improve services and attract customers.
Research new products, hospitality technology and market trends that could improve the venue’s offering. Coordinate with Square, internet, CCTV, website and other technology/service providers. Introduce automation and technology improvements that reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency. Provide technical support and guidance to bar staff.
Requirements Degree or postgraduate qualification in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related discipline. Strong experience in IT support, infrastructure, networking and technical operations. Experience supporting EPOS/payment technology, networking, CCTV
Pay: €18.50 per hour
